This is the same thing that happened in the 60's. Kerry wanted to go to war and then critizes it after we are at war. Hmm... I think there is a pattern here. We call those kinds of people opportunists.

Ipodder - or how I found an Evil Genius
Okay, I have been remiss of late on posting. I plead that it is because I have become engrossed finding and listening to PodCasting. What is PodCasting? It is essentially time shifted radio. What is time shifted radio? Think about it for a second.
Essentially if you have a computer and an inclination to be your own radio host... You can publish your work. Adam Curry from MTV fame appears to be the driving force behind this new movement. However, he is far from the only one.
I have found myself turning off the morning radio... There is plenty to choose from in Atlanta, and listening to the Evil Genius chronicles. Dave Slusher, is funny and a nerd. A rare combination.
So what does ipodder do? It is basically a script that grabs RSS feeds of audioblogs. If that sentence didn't cause a nose bleed then you may be able to use it. I use it to bring in content for iTunes and then sync with my iPod.
Adam and Dave are experimenting with getting things straightened out for delivery... It is still frustrating to try and find the latest show since they have not settled on a decent file naming convention. But that is minor. I will save rants about Adam's Radio affectations for some day in the future.

I am so cool now.
I now have a gmail account. Thanks Kenzoid. In a small informal survey of two people... 1 who heard me state that I had an account asked, "You have a what?" The other asked, "You got an invitation?"
Thus, I can extrapolate from this small informal survey that I am cool with 50% of all the people in the world.
So what is the address? leeragans@gmail.com
What else would it be. Send me an e-mail there... I have a gig of storage... I will keep it forever.

Evil Genius Chronicles - Bug in 0.3
This is the future of audio programs. Well maybe not this guy but he will be remembered along with Adam Curry as Time Shifted Radio becomes the norm.
You can take that prediction and put it in the bank.

This is great. Everytime a group of protesters come to my town, I threaten to break out a pile of che guevera t-shirts and sell them from the back of my truck.
I wish I had a pile of these during the last Dragon con.

This is nothing more than foreign meddling in the US political system
Guardian Unlimited Politics | Special Reports | The war was illegal
The secretary general had plenty of time to say this since the US massed troops and invaded Iraq. It seems oddly timed to help a presidential candidate who has stated he would only use the US military under the guidance of the UN.
This looks like the Secretary general wants full control of the most powerful military on the planet.
I am not debating the legality or illegality of the war. Let me be perfectly clear on that. I think this is an attempt to control the outcome of the US election on November 2nd by a foreign power.

Putin strengthens the Central government
My Way News
What an interesting opportunity we have in the USA. We can watch and see if a country trying to combat terrorism can win that battle by streamlining their governmnet and increasing control by the central government.
So what do we say if it works?
Sure many people are saying Putin was just waiting for this chance.

TIME.com: Campaign 2004: Bush Opens Double-Digit Lead
This of course is interesting, but the fact that another less than conservative source shows a double digit lead is very interesitng. There is plenty of time left, but it is hopeful in my mind that people have changed their minds after learning more about Kerry.
Kerry had a good chance when people only knew that he was not Bush. As people discover who Kerry is they find out how much more they like Bush or how much they dislike Kerry.
