International Trademark Association - What is happening to Whois
International Trademark Association
Okay, I wanted to post this because I thought it would make me look smarter.
No really... This is an interesting point here. People think that they can be anonymous on the internet. You can't be. At least you can be found. Now legislators are getting involved. The days of the wild west internet may be coming to an end with legislature that makes it a crime to have less than totally honest information in your domain registration.

More ways to buy food.
While driving in with a few thousand of my closet friends two more methods of buying food came to mind. You could sell food by color and time. The first one would be stupid, but the second could be brilliant.
Imagine renting your time at the buffet. You could pay for your time like a parking garage. In truth many restaurants do this now. They set their entree prices based on how much they need to take in per hour per table.
This situation would be more honest. We do this with parking and phone service. Why not food.

Ways to pay for food
My old Special Forces friend mentioned a place in Denver that sold food by the scoop after reading about my breakfast by the pound entry. I wonder if there are other ways one could sell food?
The only thing the comes to mind is food by volume. Perhaps 6 cubic inches of lunch. They had you a box and if it fits inside it is yours for a price.
I guess that is really what food by the scoop is, but it is worth pondering. Maybe not. Can't wait for my .3 pouds of breakfast tomorrow morning.

Living in a world where people don't think like you do. Or how I starting enjoying music again
I pondered the subject after hearing from a loyal reader. I don't want to be a person who never listens to people who don't agree with me. I have some people I would never give money to. Bruce Springstein comes to mind, but that has more to do with musical taste than politics.
So that said, I bought the new REM album. It isn't bad. Not their best work, but better than the last crap sandwich they tried to feed us.

Clinton wants to be UN Secretary General
Interest!ALERT: Quality Content
I called this one a year ago. What is left after being president? President of the world. I am not even going to say this would be a bad thing. I bet the UN would take on a slightly more favorable tone toward the US.
Can you do this job when you wife is the President of the US? Maybe giving him this post would keep her from running against Condi in 2008? Its a thought.

Ashley's Story - President Bush
mmmm... Breakfast time
Think I will go to the food by the pound buffet and have $1.30 worth of food. That would be a nifty little cheese omlet and one chicken finger. The bacon is good, but I am avoiding that for now. Bacon is light.
Hmmm... A search engine for RSS
Okay, now I have gone and done it. I have added this blog to feedster along with the nerdware review blog. Wonder if that will generate readership. Perhaps if I just made entries to this blog, and created a hostory of salient points on a single topic that people cared about? Nah... too complicated. And I refuse to write blog entires about what I am eating for breakfast just to fill the space.

How do you spend money on entertainment?
No really, how can you spend money on entertainment if most people in the entertainment industry donate money to causes which are you opposed?
I am avoiding new music for now, and have avoided the new album from REM. Now you may say the album isn't all that good, but I literally have everything else they have recorded. Since they are having concerts and donating money to a candidate that I am opposed to, I can't in good concsience buy their album.
I could buy the new Marlyn Manson. Why you ask? You know he had Bush with all his heart, but I am sure this guy would never give money to any political party. He will just buy another car or perhaps drugs, but won't be holding rallys for Kerry.
Now when I think I am safe I discover that Stephen King has donated money to the Kerry campaign. $50,000. Should I be surprised that he is not a Republican? No, I have read his work. I am surprised that he would dontate at all. But maybe that just shows that I didn't know him as well as I thought I did.
So are artists just prone to spending money on causes I disagree with? Maybe. But then again, the somewhat self-serving punk rock tour, Rock against Bush is more about an excuse for diverse "punk" artists a venue, than raising awareness for their cause.
Really, is the audience of a SUM 41 concert going to vote Republican? Not likely. Hell it isn't all that likely they will vote at all. That is fine by me. Stay home, watch MTV. Complain about how the man is keepng you down and stay the hell out of my way.
But back to my original question, how can I spend money on entertainment? I have exhausted all of the Country Albums I can buy. Big & Rich is the extent of my interesting for now.
I guess I will just have to take up listening to world music or Jazz.

Rock the Vote - Register to Vote ( So this is what passes for non-partisan?)
Rock the Vote - Register to Vote
Typical. I wonder what they are trying to do. Do you know that the only politicians who have actually tried to reinstate the draft are Democrats? Guess no one noticed that. We have an all volunteer force that is more than capable of handling our needs. The draft is not necessary against this enemy.

Polish President Slams Kerry
Thanks Mr. Drudge fore the following:
==============================================================================
POLISH PRESIDENT SLAMS KERRY AFTER DEBATE SNUB
Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski has slammed Dem president hopeful John Kerry for not recognizing Poland's contributions and sacrifice to the war in Iraq.
"It is sad that a senator with 20 years of experience does not recognize Polish contribution. This is immoral," Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski told FACTS in an interview commenting on the US Presidential Debate.
"It is sad that a senator with 20 years of experience underestimates Polish sacrifice, this is sad."
The Polish President added however that one should consider this was a part of the ongoing electoral campaign.
"I do not think this was out of ignorance," the president emphasized on the TVN Facts.
"There is one thing which should be stated clearly: this coalition is not just the United States, Great Britain, Australia alone; it also involves participation of Polish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Spanish soldiers who have died. It is immoral not to recognize the involvement we contributed based on our conviction that there should be unity in fighting terrorism, that there was a need to display international solidarity and that Saddam Hussein was a dangerous individual of this world."
"President Bush acted like a real Texan gentleman, he made sure to show appreciation for other countries' involvement in the coalition," Kwasniewski pointed out.
=================================================================================
My opinon... It was a calculated attempt to make is sound like Bush is going it alone. Kerry is a democrat. My people are mostly Democrats. My people also have a strong number with polish heritage. Like myself. So bottom line, Kerry didn't want to point out to his base that people who share their heritage agree with Bush.
Was that confusing? Bottom line. There are a lot of Polish Jews. Kerry wants them to vote for him so he ignores the contributions of Poland in Iraq.

'iPod users are music thieves' says Ballmer - silicon.com
I specifically bought an iPod so I wouldn't have to strip the DRM out of all my iTunes music to listen to it on my Archos.
I suppose those MP3's I have on there could be stolen, no wait, they are all podcast.
