Yahoo! Sports - NASCAR - NASCAR, SIRIUS agree on $107.5 million deal

Yahoo! Sports - NASCAR - NASCAR, SIRIUS agree on $107.5 million deal

What gives? I don't know who to be mad at. I have 3 XM radios. 1 myfi, one in my truck and 1 that I have given to my cousin while he is in college. What channel do I listen to most? NASCAR. If you know me, then you know I am a walking pile of contradictions. One of the interesting twists about my personality is my love of NASCAR. It is like wrestling, without the script. There is a drive I love, and a driver I hate. It is real drama.

XM having the NASCAR channel was actually the original deciding factor for me over Sirius. With NASCAR gone I don't know if having Major League Baseball will be enough to keep me paying for the subscriptions. Nope, it won't be. I can listen to the braves for free.

XM, you need to get on the ball. The audio half of all the news channels and 20 on 20 will not be enough to keep getting my money. I am thinking about turning off one of them right now in protest.

I spend enough on warcraft right now. I am going to have to get rid of something when the matrx online comes out if I decide to play that too... hmm....

Say it isn't so. I have 2 Tivos with lifetime subscriptions. Guess I should have asked who's lifetime it was, the device or the company. I have 2 that are on a monthly subscription. I won't feel that bad about those.

I know I am am going to be sad one day when I start firefox

I added the abe vigoda status firefox browser extension. I see even now that he is alive. One can discuss the morality of an extension that tells you someone is still alive. I am not. I just know that one day I will start firefox and it will say dead. I don't know Abe beyond as an actor. He could be the nicest guy on the face of the earth or he could be a monster. I just know that I will know when he is no longer with us.

Is this a trend? Should we be on the lookout for customized ways to track the lives of others. Perhaps a custom list? Nah. Forget I typed it.

Why haven't I been posting?

The number of reasons are the same anyone uses. Work, family, games, a new book. Basically at the start of the new year is the busiest time for anyone who works in IT. This year is no different.

I promise to do better.

The biggest thing on my plate right now is partitioning a huge database in SQL Server 2005. I may create a blog just to talk about that project. I will post that information here if I do.
