U.S. Soldier Convicted in Court-Martial - Drone aricraft footage was used.
My Way News
This is interesting. Perhaps he had seen full metal jacket one time too many. That wasn't hardcore... It was also stupid to do with a drone aricraft flying overhead.

Clear Channel Wants to be Podcaster???
According to the Wall Street Journal this morning Media Giant Clear Channel wants to start podcasting some of its content. I say more power to them. Let the big boys enter the game and see how they can compete against a guy with a recording device and good ideas.
I would like to see what the best radio people can do when the rules are lifted. I bet they will not be able to adjust and we will just get clips of things already aired.
Now if COX broadcasting would give this opportunity to Royal Marshal...

This is a fascinating read. It also tells us a lot about how the media culture can alter perceptions of a well documented case.

Well thanks to the good folks at EB Games I was able to log in and create an account. I just receive an email from mxo support asking what key I was having trouble with.
Oh, well...
EQ is a slow blodding, often boring game, but Sony had that part down.

Still no response from support....
I thought maybe I am being too tough on them...
Then I remembered the stories about Everquest Support just giving out numbers when one was bad... They understood the money was from the recurring payment.
They don't get it.
I just know I am going to have to sit on the phone with these guys for hours.
The saga continues.

Okay the CD key was missing a digit... pretty straightforward... the last block only has 3 digits.... I called tech support... the guy assures me it is just a 10 minute process.
45 minutes later I get an email. I am thinking, this is not bad. They ask me for the bad CD Key.
Again, this seems reasonable.
2 hours later....
I get an email that states... one of the digits is missing correct it and send it again.
Brilliant... the reason I contacted them was that the key was bad. 1 hour later... no reply.
I am betting I have to call again... Guess they didn't plan on having an actual printing problem.
Why post this in the blog? Why not. I am hoping my next entry will be how they fixed it and all is well.
It is so nice that when I have 4 hours to devote to a new game I can't get it installed.

Next, we build Taco Bell probes and establish fast food outposts.
This is awesome news. We have known they exist. Then we could observe they existed. Now we can see light from them.

iPodder, the cross-platform podcast receiver. - Version 2.0 Released
iPodder, the cross-platform podcast receiver.
I love this new version. The new features and extended control over what you download from a new podcast is great. I don't have time to listen to a lot of podcasts, but I like trying new ones, and I don't want to download 2 gig of shows.
These guys are doing a great job. I might just have to buy them an ipod.

Things that make you go....
I just had to link to this... the most fascinating of these to me is the speed up of pioneer 10.
I love when there are things that challenge the expected norms. Heck, these challenge things we call the laws of physics. Now that is fun.

Cool... just freakin cool.
Or course this means all that theoretical physics now has some real battlefield usefulness.
An people think nuclear weapons are a bad thing. If we do it right, we can make a weapon to take our a section of the galaxy... not level a city.
This little development should attract the attention of passing alien ships.

This is what Adam Curry is up to. I have to admit the thought of doing a world of warcraft pod cast... maybe a matrix on-line podcast. Maybe a combo. Probably nothing.

They get it. They really get it. The nerds who produce Battlestar Galactica get it. This is the same quality of commentary one would expect to find on a DVD. In fact, I bet this will be used for the DVDs when they burn season 1 and put it out for sale.
I love this show, and being able to hear what the producer is thinking is incredible. The fact that they made it a podcast means that they understand their nerdy audience. Unlike the idiots at Paramount. If you like the series, install your podcast sofware and subscribe.

This one is so simple... like the preacher with a car trunk full of porn... the gun and drugs weren't hers.
If this is a setup then the state will find out. But everyone found with drugs and a gun with a serial number scatched off is innocent until proven guilty.
