I got Sirius again - This time it is working nicely in the office
I was able to use the Sportster boom box in my office with the antenna pointed through the house but it would go out for about 30 minutes every hour or so. I solved this problem by buying a second antenna and an extension cable for the antenna. Instead of putting up the $80 outdoor antenna, I put an indoor/outdoor antenna in my attic taped off to a joist aiming at the Northwest sky.
I am getting a 70% signal or greater which is all I need to enjoy me some Sirius in the nerd cave.
Why put the antenna outside when you have an attic to hide the stuff in.
Note, the XM antenna points to the South East easily out of my office window. I know it was bothering you, not knowing that.

Napkin note
This was a note left on my car. Isn't is funny how people think they own share space.
I have been parking in this lot for 3 years and rarely am I in the same place since the good parking spaces go quick. Apparently someone has taken offense to my trying to park in the best spot available.

Brunswick Stew
If you know what Brunswick Stew is then you know that there are no 2 Brunswick Stews that are alike.
In my hometown there is a BBQ place that makes what in my opinion is the best Brunswick Stew.

Even after reading this I am still not sure this is new information. It appears to be the same old complaint, but Toyota has decided to do a formal recall and that has stopped the NHTSA investigation.
Doesn't matter to me, If I need to update my software, they will send me a letter. Now if it had a usb port I could just download the update. I can't think of any reason that could be a bad idea.

Serenity - Great Customer Service
I will post more about Serenity this weekend, after everyone has had a full week to see it. Until then let me just say, if you liked firefly you must see this film. If you just like science fiction you should see this film.
Now about great customer service, when we arrived at the theater we wanted to get some pretzels. As luck would have it they were not ready, but the teenager said the most astounding thing, "If you like I will bring them to you when they are ready." She took our money, made a note of the theater we were in and 5 minutes after the movie started brought in the pretzels.
They were still cold, a feat in of of itself, given that 40 minutes had elapsed since we paid for the pretzels. Even cold this whole thing represented something important that this theater has figured out, customer service matters. You can watch a movie at home, you have to have a compelling reason to come to the theater.
